John Marsh serves as senior co-minister of The First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Francisco. He was dedicated as an infant and attended Sunday School at the First Parish Unitarian Church in Norwell, Massachusetts. He was an English literature major at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and has a Master of Divinity degree from Harvard University. He is also a graduate of the World Council of Church's graduate school program in Bossey, Switzerland.
Prior to coming to San Francisco John served a church on the Canadian prairie for nine years where he met his wife, Alison Patrick and where their children: James, Aidan and Robin were born.
